Then started using it and quickly it stopped driving the nails in lucky if they went half way in even the smaller nails
Queried this and they would repair at my cost

This seems quite limiting. Is this true, or can you switch it to a 1/2″ collet?

Comment on RYOBI EDGE VS Milwaukee FORGE: Who Has the Better Battery? by Javier - It's All About The Build https://toolsinaction.com/ryobi-edge-vs-milwaukee-forge-batteries/#comment-232555 Thu, 12 Dec 2024 12:00:20 +0000 https://toolsinaction.com/?p=81280#comment-232555 We’ve been using Ryobi for all our DIY auto repairs. Folks seem to hate on us, but Milwaukee costs around 25-30% more. Milwaukee does have better spec’s on some of the same Ryobi tools, but for most folks Ryobi works great.

Some people have said it’s not considered an EPA efficient boiler but I can’t say my gas bills are extremely high. All in all I love this boiler, it has been great. I have it for 5 different zones and it has been awesome. Not sure if all boilers do this but I like how once it gets close to the desired heat, the flames kick off and the pump still goes to circulate the water. All in all, I love this boiler and would get it again.

Comment on EGO – The Story Behind the Brand by Bob https://toolsinaction.com/ego-brand-story/#comment-231686 Wed, 20 Nov 2024 17:53:01 +0000 http://toolsinaction.com/?p=45589#comment-231686 Eric, Not sure if you still have contacts at EGO. If so on youtube.com you should search these two posts ‘Is EGO’s best blower (lb7654) flawed?’ (daniel reviews); and also ‘EGO battery powered blower quit working’ (the greasy shop rag);. Look at both posts. EGO has a major design or parts flaw in their blowers. I have three lb7650’s, all with the same issue. I fixed one by replacing the entire electrical parts string inside the blower (P/N: 2831084001) and narrowed the issue down to the main processor and possibly the Matsuo 40 JHC current fuse protection on the board. If they haven’t identified and corrected the design flaw or part issue this will keep happening. For me Next Stop won’t be an EGO, it will be a Stihl or Husqvarna. Bob

Comment on Ridgid Warranty – Is it Really the Best in the Business? by David Barr https://toolsinaction.com/ridgid-warranty-really-best-business/#comment-231145 Mon, 04 Nov 2024 18:41:56 +0000 http://toolsinaction.com/?p=74052#comment-231145 Hi, I am pissed at Rigid. I did all 3 steps you claimed would cover me. I did not look at the website due to not needing to look and then bought a new tool. I went to the registration page and NONE of my tools are there. I called them about 5 times and they said “Oh so sorry”. WTF? I like their tools but the LSA thing is a gimmick. It does not work. It is just a bait and switch as far as I am concerned. I have also called to get my email address updated and it still a non working email address. If there is ever a class action over the LSA, I am going it.

Comment on Paslode Cordless Roofing Nailer Review – CR175C by Eric Jopp https://toolsinaction.com/paslode-cordless-roofing-nailer-review-cr175c/#comment-230694 Tue, 22 Oct 2024 12:09:20 +0000 http://toolsinaction.com/?p=6216#comment-230694 In reply to TJ.

That’s crazy they don’t support this gun with nails anymore. Yes, as long as the nailer stats it will accept 1-1/ 4 x .120, then it should work no matter what manufacturer of nails you have.
